Oregon Waterfalls and Wildflowers
The Columbia River Gorge, located about 20 minutes east of Portland, Oregon, is located along scenic byway 30. The drive takes you along a winding road through dense forests, tranquilly still ponds and lakes, and beautiful meadows of waving grass and wildflowers. A beautiful location to hike at any time of the year, the most spectacular attraction of this area is the waterfalls. Some are located right off the road, but many are accessed after hiking along winding, steep trails through the forest, passing streams and babbling brooks, bringing you to cascades of cool air and waterfalls.
