Every Image has a Story #DoMoBA
In 2016, I set out in Ruby, a Jeep with a drinking problem to off road away from a life in limbo through mud, men, angels and shaman in search of purpose. And maybe a soulmate. But this photographic road trip became a cathartic journey to enlightenment. Each of the first 12 images is representative of this journey, the stories lighthearted and simple with layers of depth. The video is hands down my favorite, please take a minute to click and watch. The last few images are part of my "Every Image has a Story" exhibition which has hung in numerous galleries throughout Reno and Incline Village. #DoMoBA

Winter Begins
Anyone who has lived in Tahoe for several years knows that our seasons are unpredictable. I’ve seen snow every month of the year and flowers in the middle of fall. So when we had an early snow one September, I bundled up and hiked to the top of Third Creek in the Mt. Rose Wilderness amidst snow flurries and 30 degrees and found this partially frozen stream which had been lined with wildflowers just a few weeks before. The water rushed recklessly over the boulders, seeking the relative warmth of Lake Tahoe where the snow was melting on the sand. All was still in the forest, but would come awake again at sunrise.
