Sierra Wildflowers
Wildflowers bring sunshine into your heart, with every color of the rainbow right in front of you, or under foot, if you keep your eyes open. From the desert climate of Death Valley and The Valley of Fire, NV, up through the Sierra Foothills, and the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the variety and colors are impressive, but ephemeral. That's why people drive for hours to see something like the Super Bloom in Death Valley, or the Poppies in Amador County. These images are mainly from the West Coast, starting in Oregon down through California, Nevada, and Utah.
